This summer, Wordless Music presents our first shows in London–and we’re bringing them a good one. On July 30 and 31, at the Barbican, Wordless Music will present a full screening and live film score with orchestra to the extraordinary 2012 movie Beasts of the Southern Wild. (Anyone who was with us last August at Prospect Park can tell you that these shows are not to be missed.)
Joining us for these very special performances (and the live score’s UK/European premiere) will be the film’s original composer Dan Romer and director Benh Zeitlin, along with a cast of Wordless Music Orchestra regulars, including conductor Ryan McAdams and instrumentalists Caleb Burhans and Louis Michot. Tickets go on sale this Friday, April 11, at 10am London time.
