L.A. composer and singer-songwriter Julia Holter makes her New York debut, premiering selections from her magical debut album of last year, Tragedy, as well as songs from her forthcoming album on RVNG Intl, Ekstasis. As a complement, Bay Area pianist Sarah Cahill will perform a program of solo piano music called “The Mystical Tone,” exploring the work of composers Scriabin, Dane Rudhyar, Ruth Crawford, Henry Cowell, and Erik Satie.
