A dynamic arrangement of avant-garde metal and Tibetan and Byzantine chants, the music created by the duo OM is rhythmic, hypnotic, and an entirely original experience. Since 2003, OM has released numerous albums, including a live recording of their transcendent concert in Jerusalem (2007) and their newest album Advaitic Songs, which was released in 2012 and received critical acclaim. Having recently completed their European tour, the band makes their Met debut with an exclusive, site-specific version of their record “At Giza,” plus some of their greatest hits on the Temple. The band’s name comes from the Hindu concept of Om—The natural vibration of the universe—A fitting description of the boundless melody and experimental vibe of their compositions.
